It's a hard learned less for me. See I don't like “giving up” or “throng in the towel” on a person or on anything actually. The last man I dated, that I loved, never loved or respected me though he faked it for five years. He had showed me he didn't in small ways over the few years leading up to him asking me to be his girlfriend. I'm sure I just discounted the signs because I loved him and because he's a dude and we were just friends at the time. While we were together he showed his disdain, lack of love, and disrespect in increasingly obvious ways that even his acquaintances, friends, and family who barely knew me or only knew of me called him out on. A man who respects you won't cheat on you. A man who respects you won't' lie to you. A man who respects you won&
